Andrea Bowen is an American actress. Andrea Bowen started her career as an actor with Broadway with musicals such as Les Miserables or The Sound of Music. In 2004, she started portraying the character of Julie Mayer on the ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives, a role she reprised on a daily basis until in 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer was born to Susan Delfino, and Karl Mayer. Growing up, Julie was the ideal child for Susan she was often seen as a mother figure when it came to their relationship.
